E-Learning days
Thanks for the great participation on the e-learning day on Wednesday.  LOTS of students in our class completed their assignments before returning to school Thursday.  If your child is not finished, please make sure they finish over the weekend.  Monday 8:30am is the due date/time for those assignments.

Changes to Remind messages
Mon. Jan 28, text notifications will be ending for Verizon customers who use the Remind service. If you use the app you will still get info. Please download the Remind app here: rmd.me/a so you can continue to get updated classroom info.

Homework

  • Read 15 minutes each school night – Color in a box on your book it sheet for minutes read.
  • Practice word work words.  Return packet by assigned date for bonus dojo points!

  • February 7th:  Science Central Night.  5:30-7:00.
    Fun activities for the whole family
    Science fair will be available to view
    Free book for all students who come
  • February 18th:  No School. Presidents’ Day.
  • February 25th:  No students. Teacher work day.

Conferences Tuesday, January 15
I’m not meeting with everyone this time around.  If you do not have a scheduled time but would like to meet, please message me this weekend and we can fit you in.  This is a different date than scheduled for the rest of SES as I will be out of town that evening.

Headphones
Many students no longer have working headphones.  Please ask your child if they need new ones.  The ones that go over the head tend to work better than ear buds.  They don’t want to stay in very well.

Gym shoes
Several students don’t have gym shoes.  We’re heading into the time of year we use them the most.  They don’t need to be new, just washed and clean.  Please ask your child if they need gym shoes.

Next word work test:  January 18 – Sorry I had the wrong date on the word work packet.  List 25 will be next week (Jan 14-18).  Test will be on Friday.
