FALL PARTY SIGN UP

If you’d like to sign up to send something or help out with the fall party on October 31, please click on the link below to sign up.  We still have a few open slots.  The kids will thank you!

HOMEWORK

  • STUDENTS ARE TO READ 20 MINUTES EACH NIGHT.

  • Your child is bringing home a reading log each week to fill out and return on Fridays. 

  • PRACTICE WORD WORK (SPELLING WORDS) AT HOME.

  • Practice word work (spelling) at home.  Attached to the word list are some practice pages/activities.
  • Choose at least three activities to do each week.
  • Turn them in by test day to earn bonus class dojo points!

November 7th:  Moments with Moms (formerly Muffins with Moms)
November 7th:  End of first Trimester.

WACF field trip

We had a great trip out to the WACF today. We made bird feeders, studied bird feet, learned about migration, learned about how different types of birds eat, and made a bird craft. Many thanks to all the volunteers from the WACF for a great learning experience!

Hays Corner Parent Teacher Conferences October 8-10, 2019

Midterms will be coming home at Conferences.  I will be holding them until that time, even if you have other children bringing them home earlier.  Please schedule a time at the link below to meet with me.  Thank you!

  • Parents should be receiving an email from the Pizza Hut Book it Program.  We are doing digital book it this year and the rewards come via email.  Please accept the book it request so your child can receive their rewards.  If your child returns 3 of 4 Weekly reading logs each month they will earn a free Pizza Hut personal pizza!  Book it starts in October.
